Why 50/50 and not something thicker

A pod coil has small wicking ports. A VG-heavy liquid cannot move through them fast enough, the wick runs dry and the coil burns — usually within a few puffs and permanently. 50/50 exists precisely to suit that hardware. If your device documentation specifies a ratio, it is worth following over any general rule.

Strengths and sizes

Stocked in 10mg and 20mg, in 10ml bottles. Strength is chosen on the product page, and where a flavour is offered at more than one it appears under each strength category.

What UK law fixes

Nicotine e-liquid sold in the UK is capped at 20mg/ml, bottles containing nicotine at 10ml, and tanks and pods at 2ml. Those limits come from the Tobacco and Related Products Regulations and apply to every retailer here, so they are not a stocking decision on our part.

Storage

Keep bottles closed, upright, out of direct sunlight and away from heat. Liquid darkens with age as the flavourings oxidise — that is expected rather than a fault, though flavour fades with it. Check the best-before date on the bottle or carton.

Common problems, and what actually causes them

• Burnt taste on a new pod — the wick was not saturated. Fill, then wait five minutes before the first puff.
• Leaking — often a liquid thinner than the coil was built for, or a pod filled with no air gap left at the top.
• Flavour fading after a week — normal coil wear. Sweeter and darker liquids shorten coil life noticeably.
• Harshness that was not there before — usually a tired coil rather than the liquid itself.

UK standard delivery is £2.99, and free on orders over £30. Orders placed before 2pm on a working day are dispatched the same day. Everything is sent in plain outer packaging, and an age check is carried out at checkout because these are age-restricted products.
