How long one lasts
Flavour is the indicator. When it fades or turns harsh the coil is finished, and no amount of cleaning brings it back. One to two weeks is typical with regular use. Sweeter, darker liquids shorten coil life noticeably compared with lighter ones.

Fill a refillable pod and leave it five minutes before the first puff. This single habit is the difference between a pod lasting its full life and being ruined on the first draw.
Why pods are not interchangeable
A pod has to match on three things at once: the physical shape of the slot, the position of the electrical contacts, and the resistance the device expects to drive. A pod from another range can satisfy the first and fail the other two, which is why "it fits" is not the same as "it works". Match the device name and the range name together.
Getting a full life from each pod
- Prime it. Fill, then wait five minutes before the first puff.
- Do not chain-vape a fresh pod. Give the wick time to keep up for the first few draws.
- Fill to just below the line. A pod with no air gap pushes liquid out when the pressure changes.
- Store it upright. On its side, liquid works its way into the airway.
Sweeteners and coil life
Darker, sweeter liquids — desserts, custards, anything heavily sweetened — leave residue on a coil far faster than light fruit or menthol blends. If pods seem to be running out quickly, the liquid is a more likely cause than the pods.
Capacity
Every pod sold in the UK is capped at 2ml, prefilled or refillable, so capacity is not a point of difference between them. What differs is how often you refill and what it costs per millilitre.
Buying spares before you need them
Pods fail without much warning — flavour is fine one day and flat the next. Because availability varies by range, the practical move is to keep one spare ahead at all times rather than ordering when the current pod dies. It also means a bad pod is an inconvenience rather than a fortnight without the device.
